The Transport Topics Recruiting Professional of the Year Award was designed to recognize driver recruiting and retention professionals who excel in exceeding recruiting goals and objectives, those who lead the way in implementing new recruiting innovations for their organization, and those who have implemented policies, processes, and practices that support the promotion of the trucking industry and driver recruiting for all carriers.

The finalists are selected by a committee made up of former Recruiting Professional of the Year winners. All nominations are reviewed using an anonymous process. The committee of former winners selects the finalists and the winner of the award each year, and they are recognized at the Recruitment & Retention Conference.
