With driver recruiting and retention challenges top-of-mind for motor carriers, the 2019 Recruitment & Retention Conference is filling up fast. Hosted by ConversionU (training division of Conversion Interactive Agency), the American Trucking Associations (ATA), and Transport Topics, the sixteenth annual Recruitment and Retention Conference is scheduled for February 20-22, 2019 at the JW Marriott in Nashville, Tenn. The conference boasts a speaker lineup including industry experts, truck drivers ready to offer their opinions, and carriers with success stories to share.
“Today, more than ever, carriers need to understand who they are recruiting, and we believe an in-depth analysis of today’s driver can be full of insight and valuable information for recruiters,” said Kelley Walkup, president and CEO of Conversion Interactive Agency. “The 2019 Recruitment & Retention Conference is focused on providing insight, data and trends related to the driver market today so recruiters can better recruit and retain drivers. With the help of the industry leadership of ATA and Transport Topics, we’ve built a great lineup of speakers and content for the upcoming conference to help equip recruiters in the trucking industry.”
The 2019 Recruitment and Retention Conference schedule includes insight from transportation industry experts and those who know and understand today’s driver and the recruiting and retention challenges carriers are facing. Renowned speaker, Jon Acuff will share with attendees how navigating change is important because drivers are transforming in the way they communicate and live life over-the-road. Attendees will also hear from Christopher Penn, BrainTrust Co-Founder and Data Scientist, who will shed light on the dark data in driver recruitment marketing, and provide insight related to marketing strategy and key-performance-indicators for carriers and their recruiting efforts.
Other topics on the agenda for the 2019 conference include workshops covering how drivers search online, cracking the code on driver retention, and a networking roundtable discussion where attendees can collaborate on a variety of topics related to recruiting and retention. “These topics and many more make up the conference agenda, and attendees can be confident they will leave the event with valuable information and insight for their recruiting and retention teams,” added Walkup.
In addition to the robust lineup of speakers and content, attendees will enjoy all Nashville has to offer with a concert by ACM and CMA award-winning group, Lonestar, as well as a concert from Anthony Orio & the Goodfellers at one of Music City’s hot spots, the FGL House in downtown Nashville.
