The firm added there’s a 95% chance that cyberattacks will increase after COVID-19.
- Economists & Freight Analysts Optimistic as the Industry Recovers – According to freight analysts, the freight market hit bottom around the middle of April, but long haul freight is now outpacing shorter haul freight. With all 50 states relaxing COVID-19 shutdown orders, shipments and rates are trending back up.
- Impact of Protestors on the Freight World – Fleets are recalling drivers and adjusting routes in several cities affected by protests, including Chicago, Los Angeles, and Portland. As the protests over the death of George Floyd continued this week, carriers had to respond to keep their drivers safe and avoid the crowds while still trying to continue operations.
