We’re proud to share that Erin Young, Chief Operating Officer at Conversion Interactive Agency, has been named one of the 2025 Top Women to Watch in Transportation by the Women In Trucking Association. This annual recognition highlights influential women who are making significant contributions to the transportation industry—and anyone who has worked with Erin knows this honor is more than well deserved.

With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Erin has played a key role in shaping not only Conversion’s path forward, but also the broader landscape of driver recruitment. Her leadership, vision, and relentless drive to innovate have helped transform how fleets connect with drivers, and how recruiting strategies evolve to meet tomorrow’s challenges.

We sat down with Erin for a quick Q&A to talk about her journey, her passion for the industry, and what’s next.

When you first entered the industry, what was it like being a woman in transportation?

“When I started, there weren't a lot of women around. There also weren’t many opportunities to network and grow. Now, with organizations like Women In Trucking that are focused solely on supporting women, it's an amazing opportunity to connect and be respected for who you are in the industry.”

How do you see Conversion Interactive Agency shaping the future of driver recruiting?

“The experience of getting a job is going to look different—and we’re going to be at the forefront of that change. We’re focused on using cutting-edge technology to rethink the process. It’s not just about filling seats; it’s about redefining what that experience looks like for drivers. We don’t just follow trends—we set them.”

If you could describe your journey at Conversion in one word, what would it be?

“Wild. It’s been a wild ride — ups, downs, big wins, challenges. But through it all, the opportunities have been endless. Conversion has never been something I’ve wanted to leave—it’s always felt like the place for me and the place to be.”

What projects or accomplishments are you most proud of?

“I’m proud that we never lose sight of the goal: to keep moving the industry forward. We stay on task, we innovate, and we push boundaries. Personally, I’m proud of being here for 30 years and being part of something that’s always evolving and always leading.”

What advice would you give to women looking to grow their careers in transportation or leadership roles?

“Have confidence in yourself. You are ready. I know it sounds cliché, but it’s easy to get wrapped up in things that don’t matter. If you focus on what does—doing a good job, staying grounded, and showing up—everything else will take care of itself.”

Erin’s recognition as a Top Woman to Watch is a reflection of her incredible journey—and a reminder of the impact one person can make when they lead with heart, vision, and courage. Congratulations, Erin!
