As we welcome another year, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on the brief but impactful history of Fleet Intel, our agency’s groundbreaking platform for driver recruitment and pay analytics.

During the post-COVID “boom,” many of our Conversion clients shared frustrations about the lack of accurate and accessible driver pay data. They found existing tools cumbersome to use and filled with outdated information.

So… 𝗙𝗹𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻!

We created Fleet Intel to specifically address the issue of carriers needing a data hub to find accurate, real-time driver pay data efficiently. Fleet Intel saves carriers time and money by providing a tool that not only reflects driver pay data in real-time but also puts it at their fingertips in a matter of seconds. Gone are the days of navigating through documents only to find the data is dated by weeks or even months. There is no longer a need to spend employee time and energy making anonymous truck driver calls and navigating websites to try to determine how to become or stay competitive in the arena of driver recruitment.

We didn’t stop there—we took Fleet Intel a step further by adding data on benefits. This enables Fleet Intel users to see how their benefits and other ancillary offerings compare to their competition.

Since its inception in late 2022, Fleet Intel has grown exponentially. It started with 6,000 unique driver job postings from 105 fleets and now features over 174,000 unique postings from 5,051 fleets.

Additionally, in the summer of 2023, we added pay data for mechanic positions, starting with 500 unique mechanics jobs postings and currently reflecting over 43,000 unique mechanic job postings.

Fleet Intel has also introduced other powerful features, like the Trending Report page, which enables users to view pay, historical pay trends, and Bureau of Labor Statistics data within a specified radius of any U.S. zip code.

As optimism for a healthier freight market grows, it is imperative to be ready to compete in the driver recruitment market.
